PGLU in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross La Union San Fernando City Chapter inoculates 125 Tourism Frontliners in the Municipality of Bangar, La Union

The Provincial Government of La Union through the La Union Provincial Tourism Office led by Mr. Arthur S. Cortez Jr. in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross La Union San Fernando City Chapter Chairman Eduardo V. Regala and Chapter Administrator Almira V. Abrazado, and their teams successfully conducted the Vaccination Program for La Union Tourism Frontliners held at the Municipal Covered Court on September 9, 2021.
With this, one hundred twenty-five Bangareños were inoculated during the said event. The Local Government of Bangar headed by Mayor Joy Pinzon Merin was one of the first beneficiaries for the vaccination of our tourism workers in the province.
The Manager of ABCD Resort Mr. Melvin M. Prepuse said, “The process from the registration to the post-vaccination is smooth, my colleagues were able to receive their first dose in ample time. Kudos to the organizing team and their members”.
“For the LGU Bangar, the PGLU Vaccination Team, La Union Provincial Tourism Office, and Red Cross La Union Chapter – thank you for facilitating Bakuna Muna. The program served as a milestone that will not only protect ourselves but also provide wellness to our kaprobinsiaan,” he added.
This initiative is indeed vital for the safety of tourism personnel and tourists in the province. Thus, the entire LGU Bangar is thankful and delighted as you have chosen us as one of the first beneficiaries and we are immensely thankful for allotting an exclusive vaccination schedule for our tourism workers – the Bangareños.
